Teatime in Paris – New Walk in Paris Explores Top Pastry Shops
, founded by National Geographic writer Paul Bennett and designer Lani Bevacqua celebrates
the fête de la gastronomie this year with the launch of Teatime in Paris: A Walk Around French Pastries, a new seminar that explores the art of pastry making through tastings at some of Paris’s top pastry shops.
Led by cookbook author Jill Colonna, the walk follows entries from her new cookbook Teatime In Paris! A Walk Through Easy French Pâtisserie Recipes.This is a special autumn experience with the release of the book and in conjunction with the Fête de la Gastronomie, which runs in September.ROUTE: The walk begins near the Église de la Madeleine (Madeleine Church) and includes several of Paris’s top pastry and chocolate boutiques located in the area.“We’re delighted to support Jill in the publication of her new book,” says Sara McCarty, France & Spain Regional Manager. “By developing a walk around the book’s content, we’re able to provide a truly unique culinary experience, and what fun to launch around Paris’s Fête de la Gastronomie.”Teatime in Paris: A Walk Around French Pastries Details:
The Teatim in Paris tour lasts 2.5 hours and is available Monday and Tuesday afternoons from September 14-November 30, 2015. Group walks cost 100 EUR per person + 15 EUR per person tasting fees. Private tours cost 390 EUR per party + tastings fees. A signed copy of the cookbook is included in the price. As with all Context walking seminars, both group and private walks are limited to (6) six participants and are led by a credentialed expert.
